Benjamin Moore Ceiling Paints
Ultra-flat ceiling paints that hide roller lap marks and drywall imperfections.
A ceiling shows every lap mark, every roller stop, and every drywall seam, because light rakes across it. Wall paint on a ceiling almost always disappoints — that's what these products solve.
Waterborne Ceiling Paint is the modern standard: ultra-flat, spatter-resistant, and it goes on pink so you can see exactly where you've been, then dries white. Muresco is the classic high-hide ceiling paint painters have used for generations.
Both can be tinted to soft ceiling tones if you don't want stark white.
Inexpensive relative to wall paint, and the fastest way to make an old room read as freshly painted.

Questions
Benjamin Moore Ceiling Paints — common questions
What people actually ask us at the counter.
Can I just use flat wall paint on my ceiling?
You can, and you'll usually see lap marks and flashing. Ceiling paint is formulated with a longer open time and a deader flat specifically to avoid that.
How do I cover a water stain on a ceiling?
Spot-prime with an alkyd stain-blocking primer first. A waterborne ceiling paint alone will let the brown ring bleed back through.
Can ceiling paint be tinted?
Yes — soft whites and pale tints are common, especially when the walls are a warm color.
What about a bathroom ceiling?
In a steamy bathroom we usually recommend a mildew-resistant wall product like Aura Bath & Spa in matte instead of a standard ceiling paint.
